Upcoming at the WPL!

Who's Afraid of Classical Music, with Tom White. Tues., March 20, and March 27, at 6pm in the Program Room.

Come listen to and learn about classical music in these last two installments of this musical extravaganza!


Chess Championship! Wed., 21, 6 pm in the Program Room.

Chess enthusiasts are invited to vie for the $50 CASH prize against Telluride's brightest gamers. Current Telluride Chess Champion is chess prodigy, Grayson Zulauf. He's 15 years old, but don't be fooled: This kid's an ace!


Fun With Feelings: Differences due to Language and Gender, Thurs. March 22, 4pm, in the Program Room

Emotional Speech Therapist Donna Ericson will lead this program about the power of speech, our expression of emotions, and the dfferences between the genders in relaying their feelings.


Sustainability Futures. Wed., March 22, at 7pm, in the Program Room.

Join President of Arizona's Prescott College, Dr. Dan Garvey, for a talk on the positive solutions to global warming.


Biomechanics Workshop: Custom Boot Fitting. Saturday, March 24, at 5:30 pm in the Program Room.

Boot Doctor Bob Gleason will present this intriguing look at the muscular-skeletal interactions in the foot, that help you engage your edges and actualize the perfect turn. Building skiers and boarders, from the ground up!


WordPlay! 9:30pm, on KOTO fm, Wed. March 28.

This poetry show airs every other Wednesday on Telluride's one and only KOTO FM. This week's guest will be esteemed poet (and editor of the Hudson Review) David Mason. Daivd Mason is the head of the English Department a the University of Colorado, at Colorado Springs.
