Preparing Herbal Tinctures, Elixirs and Herbal Essences

Join esteemed alchemist Paul "Eagle Heart" Randak for this double-feature workshop. Friday, June 22, 6:30 to 8pm, and Saturday, June 23, 4 to 8 pm in the Program Room.

Randak will present an overview of the Lesser Circulation, the traditional process by which elixirs were made. Randak studied under the famed Frater Albertus, and taught at the Paracelsus Research Institute in Salt Lake City.

Elixirs combine both the mineral elements (the "Salt" in alchemy) with the volatile essences (the "Mercury" and "Sulfur") to make a holistic medicine containing all the vitality and potentiality of plant essences. They are thus more potent energies than simple herbal essences created from extraction.

This program will also provide insight into the Mysteries, and present a holistic, spiritual worldview that will reveal more than the sum of its parts.
