Slam 101--A Spoken Word Workshop

This poetry workshop is open to everyone. Come and learn the basics to writing spoken word, learn the tricks to keep a roll extemporaneously, and then compete in our SLAM, A Spoken Word Standoff, with National Slam Poet Don McIver.

SLAM 101: Thurs. April 26, 6pm, in the Teen Area.

SLAM! Standoff: Saturday, May 5, starts at 6pm. Doors, 5:30pm.
